ANY building project -- regardless of scale -- is a time of magic for the client.  Humans have hands which are astonishingly adept at manipulating Our Nest.  Building is a time to celebrate that ability.  Is Studio Rebus wrong to widen Our Horizon a bit to be concerned about how our building will affect Our Larger Nest?  During the design phase of your project we select materials which will make your space healthier for you.  Healthier means it will decrease the chemical bath we all marinate in now when indoors.  The manufacturing process for these materials has a healthier relationship to Our Larger Nest.  This kind of health is a bit more expensive ............

Just finished the work breakdown structure, material takeoff's and labor durations for a proposal to renovate the entire exterior of a home in Wayzata.  Yeah.  So what.  It would use prefinished Hardie panels, metal panels and Ipe as finish.  We'd add 2" of polyisocyanurate to the exterior.  We'd use Cor-A-Vent to create rain screen walls.  RSW's allow breathing.  Moisture flowing from in to out doesn't get trapped.  Any moisture that penetrates the cladding quickly evaporates because of the air flow.  Hotcha.   Now all we have to do is get the prospective client to the bottom line. . .
